Securi-Tech SA was founded in 2003 following the conclusion of an exclusive licensing agreement to exploit a revolutionary new technology in security printing which addresses all currently known physical security issues regarding the duplication of, or illicit access to data covered by a scratch panel. This breakthrough technology offers our clients unsurpassed new levels of product and data security at competitive costs. This superior product security has been certified by independently audited laboratory tests with high-tech equipment and proven in the field in some of the world’s most high-risk environments. To date, not a single incident of fraud related to a Securi-Tech product has ever been reported by any of our clients.
Highly Secure Facilities
The factory in Killarney Gardens is a purpose built unit with very secure clean room facilities for the processing of data and production of Scratch Vouchers, with limited access controlled egress points guarded by both internal and external conventional and infrared cameras. The facility and production process has been certified by COBIT, an internationally recognised accreditation body and is in the process of implementing TS3.
There are currently 170 people, individually audited and security-vetted, working at our purpose-built facility. A layered approach to external security includes razor wire on the walls and fences, electric fencing, laser beams criss-crossing the courtyards, plus external cameras and lighting responding to movement. A modern access control system restricts and records movement of staff, while internal cameras monitor movement and record images on an 8 terabyte system. The facility and production process employ state of the art fire detection and sprinklers all linked to the alarm system. These systems are audited monthly by our dedicated Safety and Security manager.

Prepaid Voucher Products
Securi-Tech is the largest card manufacturer in Africa and in addition to standard-format scratch cards, Securi-Tech offers a uniquely innovative range of different scratch voucher products and formats which facilitate access to new market segments and generate customer loyalty through completely new marketing, promotional and brand-building features. Clients strategically choose Securi-tech recharge products to grow revenue streams and market share. Three MNO’s (Mobile Network Operators) using our marketing proposals and products grew by 35%, 37% and 55% respectively over a period of eight months.
Advanced Computing Services
Securi-Tech also offers ultra-high performance real-time systems which support a range of innovative business applications on an software as a service (SaaS) basis. These include virtual voucher distribution, brand authentication and asset tracking services, instant-win competitions, consumer loyalty programmes and voucher management services for entitlements to TV content, internet bandwidth, prizes and charitable grants. These services are accessible worldwide via internet, SMS text messaging, email and Skype chat. For example, our instant-win competitions have proved to be highly profitable for our GSM clients; generating great consumer response rates at the time of recharge.

Reliable Supply
Securi-Tech supplies its clients from a GSM industry standard, COBIT-certified, secure facility located in Cape Town, South Africa . A highly specialised management team draws on 15 years experience in the GSM industry and employs World Class technical, process, logistics and people empowerment skills to ensure consistently reliable delivery to clients. Securi-Tech SA is currently capable of producing 80 million units per month. Further production capacity is planned to come on stream when our new specialised high speed line is installed during 2010.
